Your yurt needs a solid foundation, and there are many ways to build it depending on your budget, climate, and intended use. Whether you prefer a basic platform or a fully finished floor with extra insulation, we’ll provide the specifications you need. Once we understand your order and vision, we’ll share dimensions and key details to help you or your contractor build the right foundation.

Each yurt includes one standard 34" exterior door with venting window. No windows are included by default. If your yurt requires a larger door for accessibility or other reasons, please let us know.

We’re happy to assist with planning the yurt portion of your project. Depending on your intended use and local regulations, some projects may require additional engineering or architectural plans for permits. Site-specific work related to these requirements may incur additional fees.

Your yurt’s temperature can be managed with heating and cooling solutions added after installation, depending on your needs and climate. While we don’t provide these systems, we’re happy to discuss popular options to help you find the right fit for year-round comfort.

Yes. Our yurts are built for year-round use with strong insulation, a snow and wind kit, and durable materials that handle all weather.
When heated or cooled with the proper climate control systems, your yurt maintains a comfortable temperature.
